Step into the wild with National Geographic Explorer and wildlife photographer George McKenzie Jr. during a special four-week program presented by the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library in partnership with the nonprofit Reach the World.
Explore Florida’s Northern Everglades and get an inside look at McKenzie Jr.’s conservation work documenting the endangered Florida panther using camera traps. Through journal entries and virtual livestreams, learn how technology helps protect wild habitats.
Participants can also join two interactive in-person sessions at the Westchester Library Health and Wellness Information Center on Saturday, April 25 and Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. – noon. All ages.
