On Saturday, April 4, South Florida will host the debut of a groundbreaking luxury fashion event rooted in Haitian and Caribbean excellence—Echoe of Elegance. This inaugural couture gala promises to become an annual celebration, blending high fashion, live music, and philanthropy in a vibrant cultural showcase.

Held initially at the Flamingo Room at The Village at Gulfstream Park before transitioning to the Sport of Kings Club, the event marks two decades of designer Phelicia Dell’s work. Celebrating her “Timeless Elegance” collection, Dell’s expansion from award-winning handbag design to full-scale fashion underscores her Haitian craftsmanship and innovative vision.

The runway will spotlight Caribbean designers such as Haiti’s Phelicia Dell, unveiling her luxury line; Alinson Dumorne of TBOSS RealFresh—showcasing menswear and womenswear; Rhowan James from Jamaica and Toronto—presenting elevated menswear; and Yves de Lima of Haiti with the MACA Museum collection. The evening peaks with a live Caribbean rhythm performance by Haitian band Klass.

Echoe of Elegance also champions social impact through its partnership with Fleur de Vie, a Haiti-based nonprofit supporting education and health initiatives impacting over 1,000 students. Led by Haitian designer Dayanne Danier, Fleur de Vie’s ethically produced products are showcased and sold across the U.S., including at Nordstrom.

Expecting around 300 guests with red carpet arrivals, pop-up boutiques, and a runway featuring 25-30 models, Echoe of Elegance is set to become a premier luxury destination that celebrates Haitian and Caribbean culture on a global stage.
