The D60 expansion will add 17 new aircraft gates, modern passenger boarding areas, expanded dining and shopping options, and an upgraded baggage handling system. Scheduled to break ground in 2027, the $1 billion, three-level project will revamp the current gate D60, which now serves regional jets, into a contemporary contact gate terminal for larger regional and narrow-body aircraft, each with spacious passenger lounges. The new gates will also connect directly to Concourse D’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities for international arrivals.
