Bab L’ Bluz—French-Moroccan psych rockers whose name means “Gateway to the Blues”—formed in 2017 around singer-guitarist Yousra Mansour and producer Brice Bottin. Rooted in Gnawa tradition and ’60s–’70s analog psychedelia, the band quickly broke out with a debut on Radio Nova and European festival runs. Their 2020 debut on Real World Records, founded by Peter Gabriel, earned widespread acclaim. Many U.S. fans discovered them via a thunderous 2025 session on KEXP. |
