Sacha Lichine, founder of Château d’Esclans, celebrates the 20th vintage of Whispering Angel, now the #1 rosé and French wine in the U.S. The seminar traces the rise of Whispering Angel and its impact on modern rosé culture. Guests taste rare and historic vintages, culminating with wines from the famed Garrus vineyards. - 3:00 PM – The Barolo and Barbaresco Terroir with Pio Cesare
The Pio Cesare family explores Nebbiolo’s expression across the Langhe region through Barolo and Barbaresco. The tasting highlights the 2021 vintage, blending traditional and single-vineyard approaches. The seminar concludes with Barolo Pio 2016 to demonstrate aging potential and longevity. - 4:00 PM – Riedel Wine Glass Experience featuring RIEDEL WINEWINGS
Hosted by RIEDEL, this interactive seminar demonstrates how glass shape influences aroma and flavor. The WINEWINGS collection is showcased for its flat-bottom design and enhanced surface area. Hosted by sommelier Omar Barbosa and Charles Malard, featuring eight cuvées. - 12:00 PM – From Champagne to IWA: Richard Geoffroy’s Sake Revolution
Former Dom Pérignon Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy presents IWA, a modern, age-worthy sake crafted through blending and bottle aging. The seminar includes a rare vertical tasting of five IWA Assemblages plus the newly released IWA Reserves. The experience highlights how IWA bridges sake and fine wine. - 1:00 PM – Roederer Estate: L’Ermitage Retrospective & Single Vineyards
An in-depth look at Roederer Estate’s flagship sparkling wine, L’Ermitage, produced only in exceptional vintages. Winemaker Andy Erickson guides guests through Napa Valley via multiple Favia vintages and sub-appellations. The tasting culminates in the debut of the 2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The seminar emphasizes precision, site expression, and balance. - 4:00 PM – Explore Stag’s Leap Vineyard (S.L.V.)
A rare library tasting from Stag’s Leap Vineyard, the site that won the 1976 Judgment of Paris. Guests explore the vineyard’s terroir, history, and winemaking legacy. The focus is on the evolution of this iconic single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. - 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM– SOBEWFF® The Cookout hosted by JJ Johnson with performance by Fat Joe
A walkaround celebration honoring African American culinary heritage, curated by James Beard Award–winning chef JJ Johnson. The event features culturally significant dishes from diverse chefs focused on history, resilience, and tradition. The night concludes with a live performance by hip-hop icon Fat Joe at the Eden Roc Garden.
