Miami Music Teacher Named Finalist for 2026 Grammy Music Educator Award

 

Miami’s Jennifer Jimenez of South Miami Senior High School is among ten finalists nationwide for the 2026 Music Educator Award, presented by the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum. This honor recognizes educators who make a lasting impact on music education and their students’ lives.

Each finalist will receive a $1,000 honorarium and grant for their school’s music program, with one winner announced during GRAMMY Week in 2026. The award highlights the vital role teachers play in fostering music’s future—congratulations to Jennifer for her dedication and excellence.
