From December 1–7, Miami will transform into a global art hub, attracting collectors, artists, and professionals for Art Basel, Design Miami, and more. France shines brightly during this week with extensive participation across major fairs and cultural activations.
Art Basel Miami Beach features 283 galleries from 43 countries, including prominent French galleries such as Crèvecœur, Galerie Nathalie Obadia, and Perrotin. The fifth edition of the CPGA–Etant donnés Prize, supported by Villa Albertine, honors a leading French artist; past winner Joanna Mirabel will return for residency.
Design Miami’s 20th anniversary showcases nine French galleries, with special projects highlighting Franco-American artist Joyce Billet and her exploration of nature and constructed environments. Public art installations include Philippe Katerine’s “Mr. Pink Takes Flight” and works by JonOne and Marielle Plaisir.
Music will feature French DJ stars FKJ, Breakbot, Hugel, and more, creating an immersive cultural experience. Miami Art Week 2025 promises a vibrant celebration of French artistry, design, and creative energy.
