VISU Contemporary Presents Vanishing Act by David LaChapelle Grand Opening: December 5

VISU Contemporary, a cutting-edge gallery in the heart of South Beach, presents Vanishing Act (November 29, 2025, through January 31, 2026), a landmark exhibition by world-renowned photographer David LaChapelle. Featuring over 30 significant photographs from the artist’s career, including nine world premieres, the show presents a visual archive of a world in flux, where beauty meets crisis, and spirituality finds space within the chaos. The exhibition reflects on what we’ve built, what has disappeared, and what remains sacred. In his works, LaChapelle confronts the paradoxes of beauty and decay, artifice and authenticity, with a unique visual language that merges theatricality, spirituality and social critique. Highlights include the debut of “Will the World End in Fire, Will the World End in Ice” (2025), a continuation of LaChapelle’s contemplation on nature and civilization, and new additions to his acclaimed “Negative Currency” series. The free and public grand opening with David LaChapelle will be held on Friday, December 5, from 6-9 p.m.
