Royal Caribbean Launches Bahamas-Inspired Art at New Paradise Island Beach Club

The world’s largest swim-up bar, The Floating Flamingo, is where vacationers can keep the party vibes going all day on Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Fueled by DJ-spun beats and dancing, the swim-up bar located in Party Cove serves up tropical cocktails, a VIP section and more.

Royal Caribbean is bringing vibrant Bahamian culture to life at its upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, opening in December 2025. This pioneering destination, part of the Royal Beach Club Collection, will feature artwork created by 11 local Bahamian artists across 25 key locations.

The project is part of Royal Caribbean’s Artist Discovery Program, which supports emerging local artists by offering grants to produce murals, sculptures, and installations. The artwork will embody three themes: Underwater Adventures highlighting marine life, Junkanoo Jubilee celebrating Bahamian music and dance, and Bahama Bliss expressing relaxation and tranquility.

Highlights include a 22-foot Junkanoo-inspired mural by Allan Wallace and various sculptures by artists like June Collie and Preston Hanna, representing the nation’s cultural heritage. Other contributors include Amaani Hepburn, Chaavanté Newton, John Paul, Deldra Sands, and more, all capturing The Bahamas’ vibrant spirit and natural beauty.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will feature three distinct zones—Party Cove, Chill Beach, and Family Beach—catering to diverse guest experiences. This innovative blend of art, culture, and luxury aims to deliver the ultimate Bahamian beach day for visitors worldwide.
