On Monday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m., Uchi Miami is teaming up with MIMI Chinese, the Michelin-recognized restaurant that recently made its U.S. debut in Miami Beach last winter, for the next installment of Uchi’s Summer Dinner Series. Uchi and MIMI’s Executive Chef Braden Chong have co-created a tasting menu inspired by the iconic late-night meals at NYC’s Wo Hop, reinterpreting iconic Chinese dishes through MIMI’s regional lens and Uchi’s elevated technique. Menu highlights include Akami Tuna with ginger soy broth, Sticky Braised Beef Cheeks, Charcoal Grilled Lamb Chop Saddle and Scallop Crudo Peaches with yuzu kosho and white ponzu. Expect a dynamic blend of MIMI’s celebrated Chinese cuisine and Uchi’s modern Japanese approach. Tickets are $150 per person, available via SevenRooms here.
