WHO: TRAMPLED BY TURTLES
WHAT: A progressive bluegrass outfit with a fast, frenetic sound that owes as much to rock & roll as folk and country, Trampled by Turtles have built an international following with their D.I.Y. aesthetic and innovative brand of roots music. The group has topped the Billboard bluegrass charts multiple times, with their effort,Palomino, spending 52 consecutive weeks in the Top Ten. The band brought in an outside producer for the first time on 2022’s introspective and literateAlpenglow, working with Wilco‘s Jeff Tweedy at his home studio in Chicago. In 2024, they delighted fans with Always Here/Always Now, an LP recorded with frontman Dave Simonett‘s electric side project Dead Man Winter.
