Madan Sara: Documentary Screening

Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary Madan Sara, directed by Etant Dupain. The film sheds light on the contributions of Haitian women, known as “Madan Sara” (market women), who work tirelessly to buy, distribute and sell food and other essentials in local markets throughout their country, playing a crucial role in Haiti’s economy. After the screening, stay for an informal Q&A session with the film’s producer, Lu Childs. Ages 19 and up.
