The Nader Sculpture Park has officially opened in the Miami Design District, coinciding with the vibrant Miami Art Week and becoming a focal point for this year’s Art Basel celebrations. This new cultural landmark showcases over 50 monumental sculptures by internationally acclaimed artists such as Fernando Botero, Richard Hudson, Jeff Koons, and Yayoi Kusama, among others.
Gary Nader, the visionary behind the park, emphasized its significance: “The Nader Sculpture Park represents more than an exhibition of world-class art—it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and cultural dialogue.” Nader aims to provide visitors with a transformative experience that enhances Miami’s reputation as a global arts hub.
Designed by renowned interior designer Bea Pernia, the park offers an immersive open-air environment where art and nature converge. Pernia’s thoughtful design includes her own sculptural furniture from the Atus Collection, enriching the visitor experience and fostering artistic contemplation.
Beyond hosting monumental sculptures, the park is intended as a versatile venue for various events, including cultural programs, fashion shows, and live concerts. This multifunctional aspect positions the Nader Sculpture Park as a premier destination for art lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike, contributing to Miami’s emergence as a vibrant cultural capital.
Special hours for Miami Art Week are December 5-8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 4201 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137. As part of a broader mission that includes the Nader Museum and Gary Nader Art Centre, the park underscores Miami’s ongoing evolution in the global art scene.
