SPORTS ART GALLERY, OG4EVER, OPENS TO PUBLIC WITH GAME-CHANGING EXHIBIT DURING MIAMI ART WEEK

OG4ever brings the worlds of sports and contemporary, fine and hyperrealistic art together with a vibrant lineup of events from December 4-9. Featuring acclaimed artists, the gallery offers a unique exploration of art, storytelling, athletic prowess and achievement.
As Art Week transforms Miami into a global hub for creativity and innovation, Sports Art Gallery, OG4ever is thrilled to announce its unique unity of sports and art with an extraordinary lineup of events and appearances. The exhibit celebrates the dynamic intersection of sports and art.
The worlds of sports and art will collide in Wynwood during Miami Art Week, with Artists including father & son duo, Dante and Lorenzo Mortet coming from Rome – René Mäkelä coming from Palma de Mallorca, Spain – Murray Henderson from Ontario, Canada, andMarcel van Luit from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to unveil Champ, a second edition of a piece he presented to F1 Driver, Max Verstappen, during the Dutch Grand Prix now updated to celebrate Max’s fourth world title – along with Paraguayan, Wynwood resident Artist, Lili Cantero.
At the gallery, both sports and art enthusiasts can participate in Artists Talks &  Meet-and-Greets, Sports Memorabilia Consultations, and get to hear stories like Dante Mortet’s work with soccer legend Pelé – and much more.

Events Schedule
December 4 – 8th from 1:00-4:00PM: Meet Artist, Murray Henderson, Ontario Canada. The artist is working on a painting of Leonel Messi, and invites the community to engage and add their own brush strokes to the painting. Additionally, sports enthusiasts and memorabilia collectors are invited to bring their favorite pieces of art-ifacts/memorabilia to explore transforming them into commissioned art with Murray Henderson.
December 6-7th from 1:00-3:00PM: Meet Artists, Dante and Lorenzo Mortet, Rome Italy. From six generations of the Mortet Family, presenting generational art with his son, Lorenzo; Dante Mortet is a sculptor who has worked with Pelé and will publicly debut a sculpture of Pelé’s real hands showing his iconic 10 team number, with his index finger raised in one hand and zero in the other.Mortet has worked with Quentin Tarantino, Robert de Niro, Andrea Bocelli, Oprah Winfrey, to name just a few. The Artist will share stories of his Mano Artigiana project where he casts and sculpts the hands in bronze because hands are: the essence of humanity; the tools that reveal the intentions of the mind and heart; and an enduring testimony of one’s actions and achievements on earth.
Dante will also present sculptures of Andrea Bocelli and Ennio Morricone’s hands at the Miami Symphony (MISO) concert on Thursday, Dec 5th at the MISO headquarters in Miami Design District.
Visitors can also meet artists Lili Cantero and René Mäkelä, who will be present throughout the week to share their artistic journeys, showcase their works, and discuss their inspirations. From Lili’s work on sports objects like soccer balls, cleats, tennis rackets and more – to Rene’s scaling of his mega murals throughout the streets and buildings of Downtown Miami to large scale paintings of Messi, Nadal, Vinicius Jr, and Kobe Bryant –  each piece presents a unique view on the unity of the niche category.
In collaboration with Artist EXTi, Murray Henderson will join EXTi on Saturday, December 7th from 2-4PM for a Live Painting session, live on TikTok at Tribe Wynwood. Artist, EXTi is set to embark on a journey to be live on TikTok, 24h daily, for the entirety of the Art Basel week.
These interactive sessions will explore the profound relationship between art, sport, and storytelling, offering rare insights into the creative process and the impact of their work.
In addition to the dynamic discussions and artist appearances, OG4ever will unveil exclusive new pieces and limited-edition works. Whether you’re an avid collector, a sports enthusiast, or simply an admirer of thought-provoking art, OG4ever is a must-visit destination during Art Week in Miami.
