Candidates Forum– Tomorrow Night!!

Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL), in conjunction with the Environmental Coalition of Miami & the Beaches (ECOMB), and Flamingo Park Neighborhood Association (FPNA), will host 11 candidates running for the Miami Beach City Commission in a public forum to discuss their intended policies about Miami Beach environmental issues, the architectural and cultural preservation of the historic Art Deco District, and issues concerning the neighborhood of Flamingo Park.
The candidates slated to attend include: Jorge Exposito, Alex Fernandez, Michael Gongora, Raphael Herman, Matti Bower, Laura Levey, Jerry Libbin, Maria Mayer, Gabrielle Redfern, Sherry Roberts, and Oduardo Segui. The guest moderator is Judge David Young, a former Miami-Dade Circuit Judge and star of television series Judge David Young. The format consists of a pool of questions created by MDPL, ECOMB, and FPNA that will be posed to the candidates via a predetermined random drawing. Candidates will be allotted a single 2-minute opening statement, a single 2-minute closing statement, and will have a 2-minute response time for each question.
