This year’s Dancefilms Downtown program will showcase engaging, short dance films created by recent New World School of the Arts dance division alumni which reflect the process of creating dance for the camera. Discussion will be led by NWSA Dance faculty member, Jeffrey Lloyd Smith, in whose Digital Design for Dance course these films were made. Smith’s choreography for the stage has been presented throughout South Florida and beyond and his dance films have been selected for presentation at such festivals as ScreenDance Miami.
