Angler's Boutique Resort in South Beach, FL Named Most Romantic Hotel

bhm_logo3The title of Most Romantic Hotel was given to two of BHM’s hotels in two different cities. Both the Artmore Hotel in Atlanta, GA and The Angler’s Boutique Resort in South Beach, FL were chosen by Priceline.com as Most Romantic Hotel in their respective cities.

“It’s not a distinction that we have targeted to be honest, but I believe it is a byproduct of a highly personal and service-oriented experience at both hotels,” says Keith Space, BHM’s President, who cut his teeth alongside Ian Schrager, back in the infancy of the boutique hotel boom. “Our attention to detail when it comes to a guest celebrating a special occasion is something that is not lost on our staff or our managers. When word gets out that a hotel not only recognizes when guests are celebrating a special occasion, but works hard to make it memorable for them, word spreads.”

From the online travel agents (OTAs) to the social networking sites, online presence is something that BHM has integrated into the everyday vernacular of each property. “We have always watched trends while bucking being ‘trendy,’ if that makes sense,” says Space. “Service is not a trend, it is a fundamental element that is key to the success of any hotel, at both The Angler’s and Artmore, that is ingrained in the staff from the top down. You have to live it for folks to understand and buy into it. And in this economy, where value for price paid is paramount, service sets you apart. Paying attention to the little things, and where maybe a big box might not be able to focus on the Wilson’s 20th anniversary, it’s a big deal to us. And it’s obviously being recognized by the industry and, most importantly, the guests, whose word of mouth has earned us these honors that we share today.”

The BHM is a third party management company. They specialize in managing boutique hotels and they have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of distinguished developers, bankers, architects, designers, brokers and hospitality professionals. They advise on development, operational, and reposting matters, thus helping companies achieve both short- and long-term goals.
