An Intimacy Coordinator is one of the newest roles in TV and film production. But what exactly do they DO? How do they support the vision of the director, while upholding the boundaries of the actors, and make sure, at the end of the filming day, everyone goes home, proud of their work? In this interactive workshop with Nicole Perry, certified Intimacy Coordinator, we will explore what goes into an “intimate scene,” what an IC can bring to a production, and frameworks for consent and boundary communications for actors and directions in all the work they do. There will also be time for Q&A.
