Stroll down Lincoln Road and stop in to see two free art exhibits at Oolite Arts

While browsing the shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road, be sure to stop by Oolite Arts to check out two spectacular fall exhibits: “Rosie’s Fare” by Germane Barnes pays tribute to the artist’s grandmother and celebrates black traditions and contributions to American cuisine that are often removed or ignored. While “Miami is Not the Caribbean. Yet It Feels Like It,” a group exhibition curated by Danny Baez, gets artists of Caribbean heritage to think about their own personal relationships to Miami and whether they view it as a Caribbean city. Both exhibitions are on display to the public through Dec. 11 from noon to 5 p.m., Monday-Sunday, at 924 and 928 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139. www.oolitearts.org / 305-674-8278
