Music fans can watch Jose Feliciano – Behind This Guitar at MDC’s Tower Theater Miami, starting Fri., August 19 at 7 p.m. The award-winning documentary, starring Emilio Estefan Jr., Gloria Estefan and José Feliciano, was featured during MDC’s 39th annual Miami Film Festival. From the hills of Puerto Rico to the streets of Spanish Harlem to the world stage; Jose Feliciano – Behind This Guitar chronicles the continuing 55+ year career of 8-Time Grammy winner, Jose Feliciano: The first-ever Latin crossover artist, the first to stylize the national anthem, and one of the most underrated singer/guitarists of all time. Known for his hit Feliz Navidad, his Grammy-winning rendition of Light My Fire, and the theme song to Chico and the Man, his global musical significance is undisputed.
