Celebrate artists representing the African Diaspora at the Arsht Center’s annual Heritage Fest.

Enjoy LIVE performances by Delou Africa and Kaylan Arnold, practice your dance moves with a konpa workshop, create a community mural with Paint With Faith, revitalize your mind and body with yoga (bring your mat!), get your health and wellness screenings, jam to beats pumping on the dance floor by DJ Tillery James, meet Hot 105’s Jill Tracey and more!

3:00 p.m. Meet Hot 105’s Jill Tracey (until 5 p.m.), enjoy food trucks and support small Black businesses in our vendor marketplace
3:30 p.m. Konpa workshop with KOTR Dance
4:00 p.m. Children’s Book Reading with Dr. Arnekua Jackson 
4:30 p.m. Yoga with Denetrya Brookins (please bring your own mat) 
5:00 p.m. Children’s Book Reading with Dr. Arnekua Jackson 

5:00 p.m. The Heritage Project: Race, Intimacy and Expression in Dance salon

The Arsht Center remains deeply committed to the health and peace of mind of our guests, artists and staff. Based on guidance from national and local health officials, masks (for everyone ages 2 and up) and proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test (for ages 12 and up) are required. Guests may volunteer proof of vaccination in lieu of a negative test.
