Our summer film series takes to the skies for its sophomore screening! Flying Down to Rio (1933) is a mid-air musical that sees the debut pairing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, some impressive aerial acrobatics by dancing chorus girls, and a steamy tropical tryst. Hop on a 4pm tour of the Wolfsonian exhibition Deco: Luxury to Mass Market before checking in for the 5pm Art Deco-fied film at the Cinematheque.
$11; FREE for MBC and Wolfsonian members, seniors, and students.
