Chocolate Cake & Cupcake Contest at Fairchild
Invites the Community to Enter Their Best Home-baked Creations!
In honor of this season’s Art Program at Fairchild, the Garden is holding a Chocolate Cake and Cupcake Contest! The contest, coinciding with Fairchild’s 4th International Chocolate Festival (this year featuring Coffee and Tea) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 22-24, will showcase the community’s artistic baking skills and is free and open to the public.
Imagine polka-dotted Yayoi Kusama-like flowers in colored fondant topping an espresso-chocolate tiramisu cupcake, a Cameron Gainer-inspired Loch Ness monster cake in chocolate with green tea ganache, and other amazing creations of chocolate with coffee and tea accents. The possibilities are endless, so send in your best chocolate cake or cupcake recipe and wow us with your creativity!
