Multiple Grammy Award®-winning singer and legendary performer Bette Midler kicks off her 22-city North American Tour at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with two shows on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 2015. Both shows begin at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 8 at 10 a.m. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Friday, December 5 at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages.
The tour will feature material from Midler’s iconic career and material from her new album, “It’s The Girls!” – a glorious tribute to girl groups through the ages. “It’s The Girls!” features the swinging sounds of WWII-era Andrews Sisters, to ‘60s super-groups like the Supremes and the Shirelles, to ‘90s hit makers TLC. The album was released on November 4 on Warner Bros. Records and East West Records / Warner Music UK on November 17, 2014.
“It’s The Girls!” reunites Bette Midler with long-time collaborator and Award-winning composer Marc Shaiman who produced the album, along with Scott M. Riesett. The album effortlessly showcases Midler’s distinctive and versatile vocal range while honoring timeless classic melodic harmonies.
