W South Beach Hotel & Residences introduces the Timeout Getaway package, an ideal package for in-town travelers en route to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, as well as futbol fanatics looking for the most luxurious sports-centric getaway. Created in partnership with Chef Andrew Carmellini’s award-winning outpost at W South Beach, The Dutch, guests will savor the bold flavors of Brazil while enjoying a two-night stay at the luxury beachfront hotel.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a unique in-room “Create-Your-Own Caipirinha Kit”amenity, the national cocktail of Brazil, made with Leblon Cachaça, sugar and lime. Over the course of their stay, guests will enjoy a Brazilian inspired Mini Mixed Churrasco dish with black bean soffritto and chimichurri. In tribute to Brazil, Executive Chef Conor Hanlon will prepare choice cuts of chicken, pork and beef in a traditional marinade of garlic, olive oil, lime and oregano, skewer them to be grilled over an open flame and served churrasco-style with chimichurri sauce. Accoutrements include steamed rice and black bean soffritto cooked in a fragrant stock with carrots, onions, celery and garlic. As part of the Timeout Getaway package, guests may also sip two signature cocktails daily, inspired by the countries of the competing teams in The World Cup, and available at The Dutch, Living Room or WET.
The Mini Mixed Churrasco dish with black bean soffritto and chimichurri, along with the cocktails included with the Timeout Getaway package will also be available at The Dutch, Living Room Bar, and WET throughout the span of The World Cup games from June 12th through July 13thseparately from the package.
Starting at $489 plus tax/per night, the Timeout Getaway package can be booked with a Wonderful Studio, Spectacular Studio, Fabulous Studio or Fantastic Suite. The World Cup games will be broadcasted in all guest rooms, at Living Room and in select private poolside cabanas available for reservation through the signature Whatever, Whenever service at W South Beach.
