3OH!3 and Cobra Starship at Pompano Beach Amphitheater

30303OH!3 and Cobra Starship come to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater on Sunday November 8 / 7PMTravis McCoy and I Fight Dragons will also appear on the bill.

3OH!3 started making beats in their basement and writing songs that blended rock and hip-hop and dance and pop and who knows what else, and petitioned to remove the “guilty” from “guilty pleasure.” They learned that if you have punchy, rhyming lyrics, dancey rap beats and a raucous live show that involved choreography, kids will come see you play.  It resulted in tours for MySpace, MTV, Alternative Press and opening through Europe for Katy Perry.

Cobra Starship, a pop punk/synth band created by former Midtown vocalist/bassist Gabe Saporta, crash landed on the music scene with the hit song “Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)”which was featured in the movie of the same name.  Their first album While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets was followed by ¡Viva la Cobra! and most recently released Hot Mess, which featured the hit “Good Girls Go Bad” (co-written with American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi)
