MIAMI FILM FESTIVAL

Mar 4 – 13, 2022

The 39th edition of Miami Dade College’s acclaimed Miami Film Festival returns from March 4-13, 2022. The 10-day Festival showcases the work of the world’s best emerging and established filmmakers’ international and Ibero-American films to the diverse cosmopolitan community of Miami. Some of the biggest stars and filmmakers in the world have graced the screens of the Miami Film Festival from Sofia Loren, Antonio Banderas, Anne Hathaway, Danny Glover, Shirley MacLaine, Spike Lee, Pedro Almodóvar, and Andy Garcia. Each year, the Festival attracts approximately 45,000 attendees, 300 filmmakers, producers, talent and industry professionals from around the globe.

With over $100,000 in cash awards, the Miami Film Festival strives to be a beacon of support to local filmmaking talent and has elevated the work of numerous local filmmakers via exciting marquee screenings and generous cash prizes like the Knight Made in MIA Award for locally produced features and shorts.

With numerous films to choose from at multiple locations throughout the Magic City, general admission tickets to individual films typically cost around $13 each. Save money by joining the Miami Film Society, which also gives movie buffs the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public.
