38th Annual Main Street Festival of Lights, In Support of Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Giving Gators

The 38th Annual Main Street Festival of Lights, proudly presented by The Graham Companies and the Main Street Merchants, is set to usher in the holiday season Downtown Miami Lakes. Gather your family, friends, and loved ones for a festive evening on Main Street, slated for Saturday, November 18, 2023, and experience the magic of this beloved holiday tradition. Complimentary parking and admission will be provided for all event attendees.

Once again, Downtown Miami Lakes will undergo a breathtaking transformation, illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights, creating an enchanting winter wonderland for all to enjoy. This year’s festivities include the iconic Main Street Oak Tree Lighting, featuring a special appearance by Santa Claus, lively DJ sets, and captivating live performances by children from local Miami Lakes schools. Kids will enjoy meet and greets with holiday characters, complimentary face painting, glitter tattoos, shaved ice, cotton candy, popcorn, arts and crafts, and the opportunity to take pictures with Santa. The Graham Companies, Main Street Merchants, and HDS Companies generously sponsor these family-friendly activities. The renowned journalist TV and Radio personality GiGi Diaz will emcee the event. Media partners include The Miami Laker and Clear Channel Outdoor.

Main Street has been a premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination for over four decades, attracting generations of locals and travelers to its captivating atmosphere. Attendees who arrive early can also seize the opportunity to complete their holiday shopping and explore the Miami Lakes Farmers Market, conveniently located at the intersection of Main Street and New Barn Road.

The Graham Companies has a longstanding commitment to giving back to South Florida communities. For the third consecutive year, they have joined forces with Neighbors 4 Neighbors to collect unwrapped toys for underprivileged children in Miami Lakes, whom Giving Gators serve. A dedicated Neighbors 4 Neighbors event booth will facilitate onsite toy collections. During the event, attendees can connect with and potentially adopt a shelter pet from the Miami-Dade County Animal Services adoption booth.

“The holidays bring so much excitement and warm feelings as they ignite the inner child in all of us. To be able to share in the magic of it all and deliver toys for children in the community, we cannot think of a better way than to collaborate with Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Giving Gators this holiday season,” said Andrea Graham Rechichi, Vice President of Corporate Relations at The Graham Companies. “By hosting our 3rd annual toy drive in conjunction with the Main Street Festival of Lights, we can bring hundreds of children in our community more joy. We hope to make this holiday season a time of smiles, laughter, and love.”
