Greater Miami and Miami Beach Reefline: Miami’s Underwater Art & Conservation Experience Now Open

Reefline, a groundbreaking seven-mile underwater sculpture park and snorkel trail off Miami Beach, is now open to the public. The first phase features monumental sculptures that double as living coral reefs, blending art, adventure, and ocean conservation.

Located just 600 feet from shore near 4th Street, Reefline is the world’s only underwater art park connected to a major global city, accessible via beach, boat tours, or dive trips. The inaugural artwork, Concrete Coral by Leandro Erlich, transforms traffic into a thriving marine habitat. Future installations will expand the trail in 2026.

Built from marine-grade, eco-friendly materials to foster coral growth and marine life, Reefline positions Miami as a leader in sustainable, innovative travel—an open-air museum beneath the waves.

Why travelers will love it:

  • A first-of-its-kind attraction: REEFLINE is the only underwater art park connected to a major global city, blending creativity and conservation.

  • Easy and free access: Located just 600 feet from shore near 4th Street, visitors can reach it directly from the beach or through boat tours and dive trips from Miami Beach Marina or South Pointe Park.

  • Art with purpose: The first installation, Concrete Coral by Leandro Erlich, turns a traffic jam of concrete cars into a thriving marine habitat. Upcoming works from Carlos Betancourt, Alberto Latorre and Petroc Sesti will expand the trail in 2026.

  • For those seeking sustainable travel: Each structure is crafted from marine-grade, pH-neutral concrete designed to promote coral growth and protect the shoreline while creating habitats for marine life.
