DETAILS:             Hard Rock Stadium will host a press conference with team officials, members of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), Miami-Dade County and Miami Gardens representatives as the official host site of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on Friday, June 17.

 

FIFA formally announced Miami as its 2026 host city following a selection process which included 22 host candidates during a live broadcast on Thursday, June 16. With Hard Rock Stadium as the designated venue, Miami will hold the rights to stage matches for the 48-team tournament hosted by three nations – both firsts for a FIFA World Cup.
