| AileyCamp Miami is a full-scholarship, six-week summer day camp where middle school students are immersed in dance as a physical activity. In addition to expanding aesthetic awareness, the camp fosters athletic ability and skills demanded by any sport. As a result, campers increase confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills and enjoy a variety of social activities.
The program strives to provide a safe and artistic environment for students to take West African, jazz, modern and ballet dance classes while also learning about nutrition, conflict resolution, drug prevention, critical thinking and other life skills in personal development and creative communication classes. Applications are due February 28 and are available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. |
