2024 Participatory Public Art (PPA) Program Call for Artists

Applications are open until January 21, 2024.

Vizcaya Explores Indigenous Connections

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is proud to announce the 2024 Participatory Public Art (PPA) program. In tandem with the estate’s developing Land Acknowledge, the theme “Still Here” seeks to highlight not only the history of the land, but also the vibrant, ongoing presence and culture of South Florida’s Indigenous communities through multi-faceted art.

This unique opportunity involves leading art-making workshops, as well as a culminating event to engage the Miami-Dade community in a creative process. The chosen artist will receive a $10,000 honorarium and an additional budget for production.

If you’re a South Florida-based artist of Indigenous descent, consider submitting your proposals to be part of this exciting new project. Applications are open until January 21, 2024.

For more information and submission details, visit our website. Apply now and be a part of Vizcaya’s vibrant public art legacy.
