From December 2nd to 8th, 2025, 1 Hotel South Beach hosts seven site-responsive installations by Brooklyn-based kinetic and data artist BREAKFAST, curated by NicoleMarie Advisory. Transforming live environmental data into dynamic sculptures, the exhibition makes climate change visually tangible across the hotel’s facade, lobby, and beachfront.
Highlights include the 20-foot-wide Carbon Wake, which visualizes real-time global carbon emissions as rippling golden surface movements, and other works like Antarctic Ice, Water 80, and Climate Shift that depict oceanic patterns, melting ice, and human heat signatures. On the beachfront, Consumption responds to live waste metrics with unsettling choreography that reflects global demand.
