Non-profit that helps SoFla kids with cancer raises $225,000 in Hollywood

Coconut Creek based non profit organization, the Chiera Family Foundation, held its annual fundraiser last weekend. 
 
Over 380 people attended Hoedown at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. It raised more than $225,000 to help kids battling cancer. 
 
Ayla Brown, rising Nashville Star and season six finalist from American Idol, entertained the guests.
 

The Chiera Family Foundation began as a tribute to a family member and has turned into one of the largest fundraising efforts for many kids and young adults battling cancer across South Florida.
