Coconut Creek based non profit organization, the Chiera Family Foundation, held its annual fundraiser last weekend.
Over 380 people attended Hoedown at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. It raised more than $225,000 to help kids battling cancer.

The Chiera Family Foundation began as a tribute to a family member and has turned into one of the largest fundraising efforts for many kids and young adults battling cancer across South Florida. It send kids to summer camp, golf clinics, and awards college scholarship to young cancer survivors.
