Chef DaSilva began her culinary career at 3030 Ocean at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in 2000. She and her restaurants have been honored and/or won numerous awards both locally and nationally, including being the only Florida restaurant in Esquire’s annual feature “The Best New Restaurants in America” in 2011 and “Best Celebrity Chef” in Broward/Palm Beach New Times for 2009.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she has also received several awards for her efforts in supporting the local community, including the prestigious Women’s Circle of Excellence award given by the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce for her services in hospitality. Chef DaSilva was invited to be a guest chef at the James Beard House in New York City, and is a seven-time participant in the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in Orlando. Paula was also seen nationally on “NBC’s Today” as a featured guest chef during the promotions leading up to the Rio de Janiero Olympics in her home country.
