On the second Saturday of every month from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Wynwood's galleries open simultaneously for free — street murals, pop-up installations, and the neighborhood's creative energy at its peak.
Wynwood's monthly Art Walk is the event that put the neighborhood on the international art map, and it remains one of Miami's most distinctive free cultural experiences. On the second Saturday of each month, galleries along the NW 2nd Avenue corridor open their doors simultaneously for free evening receptions. The Wynwood Walls — the outdoor mural complex that anchors the neighborhood — are always accessible, but Art Walk night adds gallery openings, artist appearances, pop-up installations, and the concentrated energy of thousands of people moving through the neighborhood together. The format has evolved over the years but the core remains: free access to serious contemporary art in an outdoor urban setting unlike anywhere else in the country.

- Start at the Walls:Begin at the Wynwood Walls complex (NW 2nd Ave and 26th Street). The outdoor murals are the neighborhood's anchor — orient yourself here before moving to the galleries.
- NW 2nd Ave corridor:The main gallery strip runs along NW 2nd Avenue. Walk north and south from the Walls — most major galleries are within a 4-block radius.
- Arrive early:Art Walk peaks between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Arriving at 7:00 PM gives you the galleries before the crowds, and the murals in the last light of evening.
Getting There Without a Car
- City of Miami Trolley:The Wynwood Trolley route runs along NW 2nd Avenue through the arts district. Free from Downtown Miami and Edgewater.
- Rideshare drop-off:On Art Walk nights, rideshare drop-off on NW 2nd Avenue is efficient. The return trip is harder — request your ride before you're ready to leave, as surge pricing applies on Art Walk nights.
