The University of Miami Brain Fair is a free educational event held at the Miami Science Museum on Saturday, March 19 from 10am-4 pm. The 2nd Annual Brain Fair is geared toward educating children ages 5-12 and their parents how the brain and spinal cord function. Children can participate in hands-on learning activities including: building a neuron, playing memory games, face painting and puppet shows about how the brain works. Lectures will be given for adults by University of Miami neuroscientists and clinicians specializing in autism, sleep disorders, brain injury, and Alzheimer’s disease.
