The Wasie Foundation, a private charitable foundation known for its vast national philanthropic endeavours and support of the South Florida community, is pleased to announce that it has pledged to present a matching gift of $100,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s South Florida Office, if the CF Foundation is able to raise $100,000 in new sponsorships, donations and drawing sales, by the end of this year (December 31, 2013). The CF Foundation plans to achieve this goal through the fundraising efforts of its annual signature event, the 18th Annual AT&T JEB BUSH Florida Classic sponsored by The Wasie Foundation and presented by BB&T, Ford and Premier Beverage, which will take place on November 21-23, 2013 in Fort Lauderdale. This is the third year that The Wasie Foundation is presenting the $100,000 Challenge to the CF Foundation, which was reached both times in the past two years. To date this year, the CF Foundation has raised $48,500 towards the $100,000 needed for the match.
