The Bass Community Day — Free Last Sunday
Miami Beach's Contemporary Art Museum, Free Every Last Sunday
The Bass — Miami Beach's premier contemporary art museum — opens its doors free to the public on the last Sunday of every month, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. No ticket, no membership, no reservation required.
The Bass is one of Miami Beach's most underrated cultural institutions. Housed in a 1930s Art Deco building that has been expanded and modernized over the decades, it presents contemporary art with a focus on fashion, design, and the intersection of art and popular culture. Its permanent collection includes works by Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Yoko Ono. The museum sits one block from SoundScape Park and two blocks from Lincoln Road, making it an easy addition to any Miami Beach cultural day. Community Day on the last Sunday of each month is the museum's commitment to unconditional public access.
