Unconditional Cultural Access
NWS WALLCAST Concerts — Always Free
Live Symphony on the SoundScape Park Lawn
The New World Symphony broadcasts live, high-fidelity performances directly onto the 7,000-square-foot projection wall of SoundScape Park — free, outdoors, and open to anyone who shows up with a blanket.
The New World Symphony's Frank Gehry-designed concert hall in Miami Beach is one of the most acoustically advanced performance venues in the world. What most people don't know is that the building's exterior wall doubles as a massive projection screen, and the park behind it — SoundScape Park — is a free outdoor concert venue every time a WALLCAST event is scheduled. The audio is broadcast in high fidelity through outdoor speakers, and the visual feed is a multi-camera live production of the performance inside. You get the full symphony experience — without a ticket, without a dress code, and without a seat assignment.

How to Do It Right
A few moves that separate a great WALLCAST night from a mediocre one:
- Arrive early:The best spots on the lawn fill up 30–45 minutes before the broadcast begins. Bring a blanket or low beach chairs — the grass is the seating.
- Bring provisions:Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted in the park. The Lincoln Road dining corridor is two blocks north for pre-concert options.
- Check the program:WALLCAST broadcasts vary — some are full symphony concerts, others are chamber performances or special programs. The NWS website lists the program for each broadcast date.
The Neighborhood Context
