More than 500,000 Square Feet of Temporary Structures for Art Exhibits at Eventstar Midtown

        Eventstar continues to push the limits with its innovative customizable structures, which have taken over Miami’s Midtown by showcasing seven shows over 22 acres for Miami’s Art Week. It has installed more than 500,000 square feet of fabricated temporary structures with custom furnishings and designs for art exhibits across the world. The innovative custom structureshave transformed the open space in Midtown between NE 36th Street and NE 29th Street into several kin stunning venues, which are now referred as “Eventstar Midtown.”

 

                                These unique structures were built by a team of designers, architects and engineers that allow them to be used for as little as one day to several years. Eventstar Midtown has the capability to offer the Midtown area as a unique venue option after Art Week concludes.

  Art shows during Art Week include:

 

  ART ASIA MIAMI, Fifth Edition: ART ASIA is returning to Miami for its fifth edition with new and exceptional artwork by Asian artists from around the globe. This year’s ART ASIA features Near Eastern, Middle Eastern and South East Asian artists and continues to broaden the understanding of Asian contemporary art in North America. The fair will be held December 5-9, with a vernissage on December 4 from 4–8 p.m.

 

  Artexpo: The 34th Annual international Artexpo returns to Miami during Art Week, featuring a juried selection of fine art from an international slate of artists and galleries. Artexpo Miami and Miami SOLO will provide dealers with access to thousands of innovative works and bring the best to Miami’s newest arts district -Eventstar Midtown.

 

  Arts For A Better World: Arts For A Better World develops projects and produces philanthropic events to help promote Corporate Social Responsibility by using the arts as a vehicle for positive change. This exhibit will present major art trends from around the world on December 4-9.

 

  Art Miami: Referred to as Miami’s premier anchor fair, Art Miami is recognized for its stylish gallery-like décor and outstanding quality and extraordinary variety. Art Miami showcases the best in modern and contemporary art from more than 125 international art galleries.

 

CONTEXT Art Miami: CONTEXT Art Miami will launch with a VIP Private Preview on December 4, benefiting the Miami Art Museum, coinciding with the 23rd edition of Art Miami. CONTEXT will feature a curated group of 65 international galleries representing exceptional emerging and mid-career cutting-edge artists, including solo artist installations, immersive environments, curated projects and multimedia exhibits in a state-of-the-art, 45,000 square-foot pavilion, designed by Eventstar, directly adjacent to Art Miami.

 

  Miami Project: The Inaugural Miami Project, a new contemporary and modern art fair, will debut December 4-9 in Eventstar Midtown. Miami Project will consist of presentations by 65 galleries from around the world selected based on the strength and relevance of their programs. This year’s show will be housed in a comfortable and centrally located modular structure located in Eventstar Midtown.

 

  SCOPE Miami 2012: SCOPE Miami will feature galleries, SCOPE special programming, collector tours and special events that feature multiple creative industries, including fashion, film, music and performance. SCOPE Miami opens to press and VIPS Tuesday, December 4th with their First View benefit.
