Miami Dolphins Players Take Part in Play 60 Campaign

Miami Dolphins players Vontae Davis and Lousaka Polite traveled to RR. Moten Elementary in Miami today as part of the NFL’s Play 60 program. The duo visited the Principal’s office and spoke to students about the importance of good health. During the visit, Davis and Polite led kids in fitness activities as part of the NFL’s PLAY 60 campaign, whose goal is to help youth get 60 minutes of exercise a day.  On behalf of the NFL, Davis and Polite presented the school with a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 grant for health and wellness programming or equipment.

“It was definitely a lot of fun today, “said Polite. “The kids paid attention and asked really good in depth questions of how we stayed healthy. I was really impressed. Physical fitness is more important than ever and we have to take care of our body because we only get one.”
