Last Call: The PGM Guide to Miami's After-Hours, 4AM Circuit & Sunrise Spots
Miami doesn't close. The 4AM circuit, the after-hours clubs, the spots that open when everything else shuts down — and the sunrise breakfast that makes the whole night worth it.
Overview
Miami's nightlife has two phases.
The first phase — the dinner, the cocktails, the club, the DJ set — is the one that gets written about.
The second phase is the one that starts around 2am, when the first phase ends and the people who actually live in this city begin their night in earnest.
This guide is about the second phase.
The after-hours spots, the 4am circuit, the places that are just getting started when everywhere else is closing.
And the sunrise breakfast that makes the whole thing make sense.
The After-Hours Anchors
- Club Space
The Overtown institution is the center of Miami's after-hours culture.
Club Space opens at midnight and runs until noon the following day — sometimes longer.
The rooftop terrace, the main room, and the outdoor areas create a circuit that sustains a night that most clubs couldn't maintain for an hour.
The music is serious: house, techno, electronic music programmed by people who understand the difference between a warm-up set and a peak-time set.
The crowd at 6am is different from the crowd at midnight — more local, more committed, more interesting.
If you're going to do one after-hours experience in Miami, this is it.
📍34 NE 11th St, Overtown
- Do Not Sit on the Furniture
The South Beach bar operates on a schedule that makes sense only if you understand Miami's rhythm: it gets serious after midnight and runs until the early morning.
The cocktail program is excellent, the music is carefully curated (house, disco, electronic), and the crowd after 1am is the most interesting in Miami.
The name is a reference to a sign in the original space.
The ethos remains.
📍423 16th St, Miami Beach
- Treehouse
The Miami Beach club runs late and programs serious electronic music.
The outdoor terrace is one of the better outdoor dancing spaces in the city, and the sound system is excellent.
A reliable option for those who want the after-hours experience without the full commitment of Club Space.

The 4AM Circuit
Miami's 4am circuit is not a fixed set of venues — it shifts with the city's energy, the season, and the specific night.
A few reliable anchors:
- Club Space rooftop:
At 4am, the rooftop at Club Space is at its best — the city is quiet, the music is deep, and the crowd has self-selected down to the people who are genuinely there for the experience rather than the performance of being there.
- Wynwood late-night:
Several Wynwood venues run late on weekends, and the neighborhood's walkability makes it possible to move between spots. The area around NW 2nd Avenue between 24th and 26th Streets is the most active late-night corridor.
- Brickell late-night:
The Brickell corridor has several venues that run until 5am on weekends. The crowd is different from Wynwood — more financial district, more bottle service — but the options are there for those who want them.
The Sunrise Spots
The best part of a Miami all-nighter is the sunrise.
The city looks different at 6am — the light on the water, the empty streets, the sense that you've outlasted the night.
A few places to watch it:
- South Pointe Park
The park at the southern tip of Miami Beach faces east over the Government Cut shipping channel, and the sunrise over the water — with the cruise ships and cargo vessels moving through the channel — is one of the most distinctive views in Miami.
The park is open 24 hours.
The walk from the South Beach clubs takes about 20 minutes.
- Haulover Beach
The beach north of Bal Harbour faces east, and the sunrise over the Atlantic from Haulover is one of the best in Miami.
The beach is open 24 hours.
The drive from South Beach takes about 20 minutes.
- Rickenbacker Causeway
The causeway between Miami and Virginia Key offers views in both directions — east over the bay toward the sunrise, west over the downtown skyline.
The fishing pier on the causeway is one of the better sunrise-watching spots in the city.
The Sunrise Breakfast
- Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop
The Edgewater institution opens at 6:30am and serves the best Cuban breakfast in Miami: café con leche, tostadas, croquetas, and the kind of egg sandwiches that make sense only after a long night.
The line forms early.
Get there before 8am or expect to wait.
Cash only.
📍186 NE 29th St, Edgewater
- Versailles
The Little Havana institution is open 24 hours on weekends and serves the full Cuban breakfast menu around the clock.
The café con leche at 5am, after a night at Club Space, is one of the more Miami experiences available.
The ventanita window on the side of the building is the move for a quick coffee and pastelito.
📍3555 SW 8th St, Little Havana
- La Camaronera
The fish market and lunch counter in Little Havana opens early and serves some of the best fried fish in Miami.
The fish sandwich — a Cuban roll, fried fish, and nothing else — is the correct breakfast after a long night.
The line moves fast.

The PGM Rule on After-Hours Miami
The best Miami nights don't end — they transition.
The club becomes the after-hours spot becomes the sunrise becomes the breakfast.
The people who understand this are the ones who actually know the city.
The people who go home at midnight are tourists in their own experience.
Stay.
The best part is always later.
