City Trolley Networks — Always Free
Miami's Zero-Dollar Neighborhood Loops
Multiple Miami-area municipalities operate their own free trolley systems — color-coded loops covering Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Doral, and the City of Miami itself. Combined, they form a zero-fare network that covers more ground than most visitors realize.
The trolley networks are one of South Florida's best-kept transit secrets. Each municipality runs its own system independently, but together they cover the neighborhoods where most of Miami's cultural, dining, and entertainment activity is concentrated. The City of Miami alone operates nine routes covering Brickell, Wynwood, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, and the Upper Eastside. Miami Beach runs four routes covering the full length of the island. Coral Gables and Doral each operate their own loops. All are free, all are air-conditioned, and all run on published schedules.
