Casino Miami Jai-Alai reveals plans for its official grand opening celebration. In addition to a full-day of live entertainment—culminating with a free concert by Carlos Oliva and the Judges Nephews— the all-day event culminates with a car drawing to win a Suzuki SX4.

Why: The new 40,000 square foot facility boasts a variety of entertainment options including: a state of the art casino featuring 1,050 Las Vegas style slot machines; electronic Blackjack tables; Poker and Dominoes in the brand new Crystal Card Room. Casino Miami Jai-Alai also features the Casino Café and Grab n’ Go stations, as well as two full-service bars with one that features live entertainment every weekend. The renovated Jai-Alai venue offers added activities including concerts and boxing. Casino Miami Jai-Alai represents economic growth for Miami from creating over 350 new jobs to reinvigorating the local area for development to generating additional revenue for procurement businesses that provide services or goods to the casino. In addition, Casino Miami Jai-Alai’s expansion initiative is a privately funded project for which no public sector dollars have been utilized.
