On today’s edition of The Wendy Williams Show (nationally syndicated, check your local listings) the gorgeous Carrie Ann Inaba stopped by and chatted with Williams about everything from the new season of Dancing With The Stars to dishing about her relationship with superstar Jennifer Lopez, who she worked with on TV series In Living Color, commenting: “When you have a room of five girls, you’re not always going to get along.
Carrie Ann Inaba on her relationship with Jennifer Lopez:
WW: Carrie Ann, I didn’t realize that you were a Fly girl on ‘In Living Color.’
CAI: Yes, right!
WW: Here you are [refers to a photo], and here you are on the right, and here is Jennifer Lopez on the left.
CAI: You know what is crazy, when she first came on [the show], they would show these pictures of us, and they would put my name under J.Lo’s photo. And I would be like ‘But, she’s Latin and I’m Asian – no, we are different!’
WW: Were you guys friends?
CAI: Well, we worked together – when you have a room full of five girls with strong personalities, you don’t always get along. And that’s fine.
WW: That means, ‘read between the lines, Wendy. And stop talking.’
CAI: [laughs] … next subject.
Carrie on the new season of Dancing With The Stars’:
WW: Let’s talk about the new cast, and how the rehearsals are going?
CAI: Well, I don’t know. I’m a judge, so I’m not able to have any contact [with the cast], we don’t even go to the studio, we can’t do anything. So for you [Wendy], I would like to ask you what is going on?
WW: Well they say that Kate Gosselin’s dance partner has moved into her Pennsylvania home to practice.
CAI: Oh yeah, well she’s with Tony Delroy. And he’s a caretaker, so he’s going to take really good care of her. But I don’t know, I don’t know if he moved in …
WW: Then you can tell us at least, what’s the talk about Shannen Doherty
CAI: Well, I’m excited about Shannen, she’s kind of got that bad girl personality, so I’m interested to see if she’s going to give us some lip back if she doesn’t like what we say. … I have a feeling, she’s kind of feisty!
