BARRY WEISS, HIP STORAGE WARS STAR, TO APPEAR AT SEMINOLE CASINO HOLLYWOOD, SATURDAY, MARCH 24

Barry Weiss, star of “Storage Wars,” A&E’s reality series that follows teams of bidders looking to score it big in the high stakes world of storage auctions, will make a special appearance at Seminole Casino Hollywood on Saturday, March 24 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. during a free autograph and photos public meet and greet (must be 21 and older); plus qualified Seminole Player’s Club members can participate in 11 casino drawings that Weiss will assist in announcing every half hour for the chance to win a share of $20,000 in cash.

Since the age of 15, Barry Weiss has made a name for himself as an antique collector. Now at the tender age of 60, he dives headfirst into the world of storage auctions on A&E’s number one series of all time among adults 25-54 years old. For him, buying is a hobby, but one at which he is very proficient. His wealth of knowledge extends from classic cars to war relics, and everything in between.  His personality has been described as “Robert Evans-meets-Jack Nicholson.”

“Barry has a lot of charisma with a great sense of humor, so I’m sure fans of the show will be excited for the opportunity to meet him in person,” said Michael J. Broderick, Seminole Casino Hollywood’s director of marketing and promotions. “And are excited to be the first casino in Florida to host Barry!” exclaimed Broderick.

Whether it’s bringing psychics to an auction, or night vision goggles, Weiss lacks no shame in his outlandish tactics. Look to Barry for the great one-liners; he’s never one to bite his tongue.

“It’ll be a lot of fun; he should make a great MC for our $20,000 drawing,” said casino general manager, Adrian Fox.
