Healthcare philanthropy is not always the most glamorous corner of the giving world. The Young Philanthropists of Baptist Health have found a way to make it essential.

The Young Philanthropists are a dynamic group of young people committed to promoting the health and well-being of the South Florida community. Through philanthropy, community service, and education, they strive to improve healthcare and connect those in the community to the health services they need and deserve.

Their focus is to raise funds each year for specific projects at Baptist Health hospitals — ranging from specialized services to new technology that will improve patient care. Current focus areas include South Miami Hospital's Child Development Center and the hospital's adolescent program at the Addiction Treatment Center.

For young professionals who want their philanthropy to have a direct, measurable impact on healthcare in their community, the Young Philanthropists offer a clear and compelling path. For information, contact Baptist Health at 786-662-5222 or visit baptisthealth.net/en/giving/pages/young-philanthropists.aspx. Located at 6250 Sunset Drive, Suite 204, South Miami, FL 33143.
