"Weird Al" Yankovic's Bigger & Weirder 2026 Tour Hits Hard came to South Florida on May 26 and delivered a performance that the room won't forget quickly.
"Weird Al" Yankovic brought his Bigger & Weirder 2026 Tour to Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on May 26, and the show was exactly what the name promised: sprawling, theatrical, relentlessly funny, and performed with the kind of precision that only comes from decades of doing this at the highest level. The evening also marked the debut of Chad Thomas on keyboards, stepping in for the long-serving Rubén Valtierra. The set opened with "Fun Zone" and "Channel Hopping" before the first of many costume changes brought "Tacky," "Mission Statement," and the polka medley "Polkamania!" Video interludes punctuated the evening throughout, giving the band time to change and the audience time to catch its breath. "Smells Like Nirvana," "One More Minute," and "Another One Rides the Bus" were greeted like old friends. The centerpiece of the show was a medley that ran through "Party in the CIA," "It's All About the Pentiums," "Bedrock Anthem," "My Bologna," "Ricky," "Ode to a Superhero," "I Love Rocky Road," "Eat It," "Like a Surgeon," "Word Crimes," and "Canadian Idiot" in rapid succession — a greatest-hits sprint that had the crowd in a sustained roar. "Fat," "White & Nerdy," and "Amish Paradise" followed before the encore delivered one of the night's most unexpected moments: a full-band arrangement of Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565," followed by "The Saga Begins," "Charge," and a closing "Yoda" with chant. A genuinely singular night of live entertainment. For more upcoming events across South Florida, visit the Premier Guide Miami Events Calendar .

The Convergence: November in Miami
November is the month Miami stops pretending it is not the most interesting city in the country. The weather breaks. The calendar stacks. The polo ponies arrive on South Beach. Olivia Rodrigo plays two nights. Shakira closes the month at Kaseya. Miami Book Fair takes over Wolfson Campus. And Art Week is three weeks out — which means the reservation windows are already closing. Here is what we are watching.
On the Radar: November 2–8
GEMS closes out with Turturro and a Mike Leigh retrospective. The South Miami Art Festival takes over Sunset Drive. A 40-seat Syrian long table on Miami Beach is nearly full. GableStage opens Liberation. NASCAR Championship Weekend hits Homestead. And Tony Robbins takes over Kaseya for four days. This is the week the city shifts.
Inside the Room: Apotheke South Beach Opens With Three Nights of Celebration
Before the doors officially opened on October 30, Apotheke South Beach hosted three nights of exclusive celebrations — botanical cocktails, a prix fixe dinner at Naked Tomato, and a first look at the hidden lounge tucked behind an unmarked entrance on Washington Avenue.
The Best Place to Watch the NFL in Miami Is a Wine Bar on Coral Way
La Bibliothèque By Chèvre on Coral Way runs a Sunday NFL Experience every week through the season — live games in a curated wine bar setting with sommelier-selected pours, artisanal cheese boards, and limited seating. It is the most civilized way to watch football in South Florida.
