Sting 3.0 Tour Comes to Hard Rock Live Hollywood — November 25

There is a version of a Sting concert you already know. The bass line from "Roxanne" kicking in. The arena filling with sound. The full production. That's not what's coming to Hollywood on November 25. What's coming is something more focused — and for a seventeen-time GRAMMY Award winner, that's saying something.

Three musicians. Every hit. A new urgency. Sting's 3.0 Tour is the most focused version of his catalog he's ever put on stage.

What's coming is Sting 3.0 — a tight three-piece show built around Sting, his longtime virtuoso guitarist Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers). The format strips the catalog down to its bones and plays it back with new urgency. The tour is presented by Cherrytree Music Company.

Why 3.0 Is Different

The 3.0 format — Sting, Miller, and Maas — is not a stripped-down acoustic set. It's a reimagining. The three-piece combo brings an urgency to songs from The Police era and his solo catalog that a full band sometimes smooths over. "Roxanne," "Every Breath You Take," "Fields of Gold," "Desert Rose" — all of it filtered through the lens of three world-class musicians playing at full intensity.

Dominic Miller has been Sting's primary guitarist for over three decades — he co-wrote "Shape of My Heart" — and his chemistry with Sting is as close to telepathic as live music gets. Chris Maas brings a rhythmic precision and dynamism that keeps the show from ever feeling small, no matter how intimate the format.

The Setlist Expectation

The 3.0 Tour has been described as showcasing "the most electrifying hits and rarities from his timeless discography." That word — rarities — is the one to hold onto. This is not a greatest-hits-only show. Sting has always been a musician's musician, and a format this focused tends to surface the deeper cuts alongside the anthems.

Known for his groundbreaking work as the frontman and songwriter of The Police and a solo career spanning four decades, Sting — managed by Martin Kierszenbaum of Cherrytree Music Company — has consistently pushed the boundaries of what a pop catalog can sound like in a live setting. The 3.0 Tour is the latest proof.
